When women say "it meant nothing" when caught cheating. Is that supposed to mean something?

What I hear is our relationship meant so little to you that you were willing to jeopardise it over nothing.

*Not a situation I'm in, just something I've observed.

Of course it means something, it means the husband neglected her or vice versa. Who wants to live like their dead for 50 years?

@Keepitsimple 50 years? You'd think by that time we've matured enough to learn to use our words to communicate when something is wrong or at least leave if you aren't getting what you want from the current relationship?
