what is going on with you people?

I have seen a few questions on here as well as responses in the last few hours all about the same topic.
I am very confused with what I am hearing.
You people are complaining about not wanting to share sensitive stuff.
This is an anonymous site so that you can do that.
Maybe I am missing something.
If I were to follow the example of the rest of you I wouldn't have anything to share.
So if nothing else use this as a public service announcement that the site is anonymous so you can talk anonymously with other people that may have the same issues or experiences that you yourself have.
As you were

And seems a lot of people here don't like to have fun...or even have a sense of humor

@Azlotto see that's what I'm talking about. If you look hard enough you can laugh at just about anything. Not everything but just about. LOL
@Azlotto well, I think it depends upon how people SEE fun .

I get this place is entertainment, but its each to their own, like movies , some like horror, some like drama, some comedy......its the same here 🤷‍♀️

"A well-balanced person is one who finds both sides of an issue laughable." — Herbert Procknow
@Azlotto hehehe....do you think a well balanced person spends nearly everyday on a chat site ?😂

You gotta be part broken to be here 😂🤣

@OogieBoogie Ask Herbert Procknow.
@Azlotto ask him if he thinks rape is funny ?
Azlotto · M
@OogieBoogie "rape"? Where did that come from?
@Azlotto its an example 🤷‍♀️

If Herbert Procknow, in all his 'wisdom, thinks that the sign of a well balanced person can find both sides of an issue laughable....I challenge him to find rape, on both sides , funny.

A well balanced person knows how to read the situation and respond appropriately.

Ill placed humour is either ignorant or selfish, in my opinion 🤷‍♀️

@OogieBoogie I agree with you. okay?
@Azlotto ok.

I just don't think a chatsite is where one finds well balanced people.😜

@Dainbramadge Indeed.
@Azlotto yeah?😂.....personally speaking I know I'm unhinged 😏

@OogieBoogie this may be a little late to this conversation but I will add it anyways.
The quote about finding humor in anything I think would have been from the person who was raped. Not from the rapist. I think I put that correctly.
@Dainbramadge I think you might be applying the experience of other horrible things ....how, over time, one learns to laugh at it : a broken leg , a car accident, being poor, having a shitty childhood , emotional loss, abuse of some kind.

Thing is ....this one topic seems different.

Ive not spoken with one single person , who, even decades later ....can laugh about being a rape victim.

In fact, it seems to have such deep repercussions - it breaks parts of the mind.

Some get a type of amnesia, some sort of get emotionally clogged up,or cut off from previously accessible emotions, some it even changes their sexuality.
Some, it changes them so much, that their only healing is through BDSM: their pain/pleasure processing gets re-wired.

Its hard to explain. Nearly every other trauma,(I cant think of any right now), i think is externally based, the hurt comes at you from the outside.

But rape, literally beats you up internally, it comes from the inside, and it seeps into your mind, (and sometimes it feels like, your it seeps into your core)....it never leaves.

We can laugh about our chaos, manicness and our brokeness, that stems from it ....but honestly, I know of no one yet....who can look back .....and laugh about it .

IMHO🤷‍♀️
