@OogieBoogie Well said. The world has grown increasingly uncivilised/actively hostile and tribal. One runs the risk of groupthink, gaslighting and mob rules - or having their time wasted by one of any number of individual idiots who are impossible to get through to. We still live in the dark ages - just with certain modern conveniences - and people are as ignorant as ever. Now they can be ignorant to you in your own home from the comfort of theirs - and on the move via phones etc.

Plus the Internet is always online now which increases the chances of someone with an attitude problem looking to be 'offended', waste your time or what have you. We're always 'on' now. There really is no off period. You run the risk of harassment, even - and are an attainable target at all times. This is especially bad for the more vulnerable posters here.

I would kind of get off on having somebody troll me. It happened back on EP and I really enjoyed myself. LOL. When all the monsters are gone..... LOL

I've seen people harassed and even ganged up upon to habe them removed...all because they spoke of a trauma that happened to them.

Writing and talking about horrible experiences is supposed to be a type of therapy.

But when people treat it as a joke ....or their own piece of ignorant righteous drama, all it does is cause more damage.

This is why we need an anonymous 'group, where users can post without their user name coming up.

Thing is - even that would be abused by creeps. 🤷‍♀️

But they can also tear your hurt open.

Imagine being trolled on a personal story of rape...
I saw a girl here be told "she deserved it"
"She invited the rape"
" she was making it up"
"She was a drama queen just seeking attention"

...and that was the last time I saw that user.
She left immediately after that post .

That is so messed up. Likewise the making a joke of it. This is why we can't have nice things.

I may talk about getting hit... but seldom about what I was hit with.

I talk about being raped - but never in detail because of those who get off on it.

@SW-User it is TOTALLY FUCKED UP.

Most of us come here to alleviate boredom, or misery - to find a little excitement in an otherwise dull day .

But some .....some are SO BORED, and so self involved, they never question themselves, other people, or even the situation.

They go gun ho into prying someone open for their own drama .
Basic social leeches tjat can't even make up their own drama ....they have to tear someone else down to do it.


There have been some very horrible happenings here tjat involved mass reporting on users , causing suspension, isolation....and basic lying slander of them .


There was no recourse by admin ...
No consequences for the gang mentality...

...only an ignoring of the whole happening .


Ive only seen a few of these users that got targeted , come back .

Its sad that even here ....people love to be bully gangs .😞
