what is going on with you people?

I have seen a few questions on here as well as responses in the last few hours all about the same topic.
I am very confused with what I am hearing.
You people are complaining about not wanting to share sensitive stuff.
This is an anonymous site so that you can do that.
Maybe I am missing something.
If I were to follow the example of the rest of you I wouldn't have anything to share.
So if nothing else use this as a public service announcement that the site is anonymous so you can talk anonymously with other people that may have the same issues or experiences that you yourself have.

There is also the thing of wasted time and trolls and phishers - actual scammers and fraudsters - so actually it is inadvisable to take this place with anything other than a pinch of salt and focus on the real. People are weird.

@SW-User well it sure was seeming like people were awful weird. It's looking like people are still worried that they're not actually talking to their neighbors and their neighbors knowing it is them. I don't know I haven't got all the way through these comments yet. Thank you

@Dainbramadge I'm pretty sure there are scammers in the neighbourhood, even. Burglary and fraud seem to be a bit of a thing here. Wouldn't surprise me.

I even had to have the neighbour's loan shark mail redirected from my house. I googled a return address and was sure to mark the envelope with NOT THIS ADDRESS all over the bloody thing and reposted it rather than leave it a few doors down.

Haven't gotten any since then.
