@IronHamster I worked with a Native woman who’s entire family was traumatized when the FBI raided their home and held them face- down lined up on the living room
with guns to their heads including all of the children. They were being accused of illegally selling protected bird’s feathers which they did not do. It was a made up charge so the FBI could intimidate her father who was the chief of their tribe. This was decades ago after the American Indian Movement started in another state and there was talk in some tribal nations of separating from the USA. They were doing this to warn the tribe not to even talk about it. They tore up The Inside of their home throwing their belongings all over the house with their supposed search. They found no feathers because her father had not sold any. I have read later that the protected feather thing was used as an excuse to harass the Indians for various things
