Serial killers being rather disturbing, you naturally wondered why standout persons of this terrible nature would have high IQs, leading to your question.

@SomeMichGuy I think it would be more accurate to state that [b][i] successful[/i][/b] serial killers have been reported to have high IQ's.
As have[b][i] successful[/i][/b] entrepreneurs, scientists, politicians, etc, etc, etc.
The correlation, therefore, is with success and IQ, not chosen career path and IQ.
