All That Glitters is Not Gold After All

I was dumped a couple of times by men that thought that they had found someone prettier or better than me. The problem is they never told me. I had to find out the hard way through public postings. I didn't receive an apology or explanation and suffered through the hurt and humiliation. One man i met through work and the other man I met online but met in real life too.

Both guys tried to return because neither relationship worked out. I guess they must think I am stupid too or that time had healed all wounds.

The joke was on them. I cut them off at the knees because this person doesn't forget. Forgive? Yes, for more my benefit than theirs. I moved on. I stopped worrying about karma. It doesn't always work when we want it to.

I am not wasting time with people who do not deserve the attention.

One thing I've learned in life is that a lot has to do with the type of people we allow in our lives as friends or more.
I've also learned how to see a bit better what types are going to be huge disappointments.... I have gotten tired of being the one to pay the bills, hold a job and all that good stuff. Money isn't everything, but taking a good look at how a person is and WHY is going to make a big difference.
Online or in person, I'm going to pay close attention to a lot of things. lol
How people are daily says a lot... pay attention to it all, including how they are with others around them. Even guys chasing after women and looking for something better becomes more obvious with time.
