This is the 10th Amendment of the US constitution simplified.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
It means if the Federal Government does not ban something or if it is not against the constitution - then the states can make their own laws.

@MarmeeMarch unfortunately the Constitution doesn't mean Jack crap nowadays.
MarmeeMarch · M
@Punches Actually,it does. It is an indisputable document that you can take to the Supreme Court and they will rule on that only. Nothing else.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Punches Why? Because you think it's your constitutional right to make other people sick with a preventable disease?
Punches · 46-50, F
@LordShadowfire Get the hell off my back.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@LordShadowfire Why are vaccinated scared?
Punches · 46-50, F
@MrBrownstone I am not LordWhatever but someone on another thread explained like this -
Some people who got the shots are second guessing and angry about it and are wanting everyone else to be in that same boat.
You notice some vaxxed people are acting damn near like psychos with belittling, rudeness, and in some cases wishing death on others.
Of course most of the vaxxed probably think nor say anything of it but a few are like "Oh crap, what have I done?"

@Punches It’s just so stupid. What happened to the seatbelt comparison? If my seatbelt is on,it works if you don’t have yours on. They think their seatbelt only works when you have yours on.
Punches · 46-50, F
@MrBrownstone If they are vaccninated, then they shouldn't have to worry about getting infected by us dirty unvaccinated people anyways :D
And with the seatbelt thing - yeah they do work if worn properly. The vaccine though could end up being like all those potentially explosive Takata air bags that are being recalled.

@Punches I don’t say if I’ve been vaccinated or not. I don’t care if others do or don’t. Wear a mask or not. I just go after the bullies.
Punches · 46-50, F
@MrBrownstone Holy crap man that is going to be a real chore on this site.
MarmeeMarch · M
@MrBrownstone I like that - I am assuming you are saying it's the choice of the people to wear a seatbelt ? If I am right then what happens if someone not wearing a seatbelt loses control of his car because he is being thrown around inside ? Then it becomes a safety hazard for others. So If the mask and the shot can slow down this virus then that's a good thing - no ? Good for the general public.
