Unrealistic dreams they say

No Sales. No Marketing Budget. One $2,000 Dream.

I'm a first-time independent author, and I published an ebook called The Daughter She Raised Too Soon about firstborn daughters who are forced to grow up too quickly and carry responsibilities they never asked for.

I wrote this hoping to turn my story into something meaningful and start saving towards a better future. My goal is to earn $2,000 by December, but so far, I haven't made a single sale.

With no marketing budget, trying to get my book noticed has been harder than I imagined, and the criticism sometimes makes me question myself.

I'm not looking for pity. I genuinely want advice from people who've chased a dream without money or support. How do you keep going when you're trying your hardest but nothing seems to be working?

My ebook is available on Amazon for $5 if you'd like to check it out. ❤

IF your book is any good, send a copy to an agent. The AGENT will do all of what is needed for a percentage of the eventual publisher's paycheck.

IF your book is NOT worth publishing, your agent will tell you!

The first question to answer is, who do you think will want to read your book, who will benefit from it, find it helpful, find it meaningful ? The second question is, how can you get the attention of those people?

It's not that different from any start-up business. No matter how good your book is, you have to get the right answers to those questions. And of course, have the right book. Best of luck.
