What was your first job?

@DarkHeaven I was 14 🙂 and still in the modelling business 🙂🐼🥢

@Dlrannie I started at 16. It was quite the ego boost for an awkward child of immigrants with a funny accent. I quit at 28. 12 years was enough and I was tired. It starts to get harder and harder to hold the fixed positions for the photographers as you get older. It’s a lot more work than people think… and much less glamorous. They pay is pretty decent, though.

@DarkHeaven Yep it’s a tough business - physically quite demanding and as you say not glamorous as people seem to think. Fortunately I can these days pretty much pick and choose the jobs I do. I now also write about fashion mostly for Chinese magazines 🐼🥢
