What was your first job?

@DarkHeaven oh I worked retail for like 10 years. My first job was in a boutique that sold jewelry and art from local artists

@summersong All my jobs have been weird. I’ve never worked an 8-5 job where you clocked out and stuff.

@DarkHeaven oh yeah for years I did hourly shift work. I didn’t get my first 9-5 until I was 26.

1.) parents ranch (sun up to sun down)
2.) commercial modeling (contract work by the hour or by the day)
3.) various bands (doing gigs, so that’s basically contract work too)

That’s it. I’ve worked a lot, but I haven’t really done a lot, ya know?

@DarkHeaven you’ve done a ton. It’s not like retail or office work requires a ton of skill, it’s just more common 💚

@summersong the hardest was my first year of college. I was trying to do college full time, model part time (for money, and my band full time (and it wasn’t paying much of anything yet.) I know how to work hard from the ranch but this was too much. I didn’t even have time to sleep really and like zero off time for social life, I was dying and something had to give, so I quit college after the first year and perused music and modeling more full time with the extra time that I now had.

@CastorTroy I’ve always been kind of lucky to just do what I want, until recently when my life sort of fell apart.
