I've had to grapple with this reality more than most. What happens are that there are these little pockets of goodness that make it worth it and give the suffering meaning. Falling in love. Living to see just one more sunset. Learning new ways to be human. It's always those things I think of when the doctors are asking me, "do you want us to bring you back?" And I say yes even though there is little hope of meaningful recovery. I want more of those moments.

I think a lot of that depends on your definition of “better”, and your outlook on life.

I should have bought it his magnet for you, when I saw it the other day.

@Existentior it's a sad face.... You need to think about things before you respond in text. That was rude just now.You should thank your lucky stars I didn't respond brashly

@Ladyofemotions Oh, I'm so honored a random person didn't respond brashly. You are misinformed; I in fact don't care what others think, only what I think.

@Existentior Then stop responding to me. Move along...

Some situations aren’t going to improve unless you actively change them.
