What ethnicity, race, religion would you refuse to date at first hand?

When it all comes down to different cultures I know enough about myself that I would rather not even try to date a religious person of ANY religion. And I would most definitely not date a person who isn’t fluent in English or Spanish.

The religious thing is a good point. I don’t agree with any religion, so if someone was adamant enough about theirs to the point where they’d try to change my mind or judge me, that’s a no go. I respect others beliefs but I don’t like how religion seems to be forced on people sometimes.

I actually had a friend who was a atheist, and his wife basically told him that she would leave him if he didn’t convert.

To me, that’s not love nor fair.

She accepted him for who he was before but his faith in nothing really bothered her.

Miserable much.@DHggmu

@Dateless yeah that’s just wrong. And I’m not even an atheist, I like to be agnostic so I’m basically “on the fence” I like to say I believe in what I can see, so I don’t choose to believe or not believe.

@DHggmu Say this person was religious, devout, but was totally fine with you being agnostic (I'm guessing you don't think this as possible)? Would that be okay? How would you raise your kids when it came to that subject?

Right, When you have to force your beliefs on people... idk at that point I’d just separate myself, I don’t go around shitting on people’s belief and refuse to conform to them either.. very balanced @DHggmu

@Cmstars good question, no ones ever really questioned that before. I’d be totally fine with that person also, and the children could make their own choice, so they could go to church, read up on it, whatever they wanted and then choose, if the other person allowed that also.

@DHggmu Good answer. Thanks!

@Cmstars thanks for making me think about it more, I may have that decision to make sometime.

@DHggmu No problem. Its something I saw my parents go through and caused signficant problems.
