Herpes or AIDS... What would you prefer?

I thought nearly yhe entire population had some form of herpes? Aren't cold sores herpes zoster?

People are totally sympathetic to AIDS while herpes makes you appear skanky and bad. Obviously, AIDS is a serious life threatening condition, while herpes is a mere viral skin infection. But herpes will ruin your social life.

@Quizzical Actually we do. Neither are just sexually transmitted diseases. Cold sores are a form of Herpes. A lot of people don't realise that or are just in denial afraid of being stereotyped.
