@Rabscuttle doesn't everyone get pushed ahead because someone else got ill or died or had a scandal or their wives didn't want them to.
William Shatner would have done other work if Jeffrey hunter's wife didn't think star trek was stupid

@LILY61 Mask wearing was what kept the pandemic going, because an extremely contagious disease that DOESN'T KILL PEOPLE and had (ostensibly) already jumped species several times could only be ended by herd immunity; anyone who didn't sleep through grade school science classes knew that we WANTED it to spread.
You've gone from slavering to outright murderous, here, and for no better reason than disliking a boorish, narcissistic jackass. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

@SW-User Holy crap Batman! I didn't imply anything sinister like that at all. i just thought maybe if there was a love interest or if he was planning on working abroad because he like to travel. i implied or suggested nothing evil what so ever. maybe his grandma is British ...

@SW-User don't you think your reaction to my question was a bit nonsensical?

@Thinkerbell so do you agree that POTUS is a bad one? His election by less than a majority was a mistake made by voters in both parties. The plans for this administration were clearly laid out prior to the election. The voters either didn't read ot ignored them. There were fewer voters of both parties who voted in 2024 then in 2020.

Scott Golloway.
i just looked at the contenders and it looks like they could all be the grandchildren of the previous two presidents. that makes me nervous and glad at the same time

I know this will get me flamed and called names. I have always voted for those i judged most ethical, most educated, most likely to put the needs of their constituents above all others. I have lived through many potentially existential crises during my life. At the present i think current POTUS is the worse person for his position. I see no "righteous" members of his party trying to control him. Thus i will be unable to support anyone in the republican party! Unfortunately there is noone emerging from the pack to attract my support in 2028.

"Since i was eligible to vote, there has never been a republican running for that office that matched thise criteria..."
But of course, for example, Bill Clinton did." 😂 😂 😂
Was that Nelson Rockefeller, by any chance?
Bernie would have had a conniption if he had found out. 😳

Don't worry, I won't tell him. 🤫
Yes, for state legislature a number of times, when the Republican was an even bigger crook than the Democrat.
But I'll go you one better. I'll list some Democrats that I probably would have voted for president, had I been alive and eligible at the time. These Democrats of course ran for president before the party went batsh*t crazy.
FDR, Truman, JFK, LBJ (with misgivings), maybe Humphrey, but no Democrat after that.

@Thinkerbell i lived in N J and voted for tom kean and christie whitman. They were both nice people and decent governors. She screwed up after 911 when as EPA director she made a stupid statements.
@samueltyler2 sad but true

Really? 2028?
So that's approximately 2 years and 4 months before this next person takes power.
