personal goals?

what are good goals for someone who is emotionally devaste?

Based if what you mentioned in the comments, if they don’t think there’s anything wrong with them then you can’t ‘make them’. What you can do is encourage them to make generally healthy choices like eating well; getting good, consistent sleep; going for walks or whatever physical activity they find fun so it’s not like ‘more work’; and looking over there life to see if there’s anywhere they can reduce or remove stress.

@WhateverWorks the person in question tells me they want to change, have life goals but everything i come up with never succeeds. holding routine is hard for them and admitting things is also extremely hard for them. im trying to figure out a base line of things for goals for them...maybe like a better routine, communication goals...things like that.

The thing is that you can come up with whatever good thing, but telling you they want to change is different than [i]actually[/i] wanting. You’ll run yourself ragged trying to help someone who makes an abundance of excuses why they’re still a mess, Especially when their explanations rarely take personal responsibility @Katysblogs
