I have and I have had to fire employees as well. Not pleasant but usually for the best.

@hippyjoe1955 what is the usual process to write up? I don't have the authority to fire her. She would have been gone long ago if I had

@Lilliesandlight It really depends on the company policy. I had to call the employee in and inform them that they had been written up and if they wanted to question the file they were welcome. I didn't really have the authority to fire either but I would get orders from my boss to fire someone so I would call them into my office and let them know that they could gather their stuff and leave now.

@hippyjoe1955 ugh, that's my dream. This lady is crazy and stupid, a very bad combination

@Lilliesandlight You claim her to be Crazy and Stupid, what has she done?

@Lilliesandlight Yeah I had a woman that spent a week trying to balance the books. She was out a penny. The boss eventually mailed her a penny and told her to balance the books and get on with her job. She then got transferred/promoted to a different branch of the company. Her new boss walked in and saw her in her new job. His first words to her were "your fired". He walked into his office while she cleaned out her desk.

@Iwillwait she's rude and disrespectful to everyone in the office, including the doctor. She makes the same mistakes over and over again. She's been there a year and a half and she still has to ask questions about the most basic things. Her mistakes have cost the clinic hundreds if not thousands of dollars. She's thrown full tantrums, been rude to patients. She never stays at her desk. She lies. She turns the staff members against each other. It's very toxic.

@Iwillwait we've all complained to our manager about her multiple times. The manager basically tells us to focus on the positives about her. Which are none. She even told us at one point that she's "precious" and that she needs her 🙄

But she also told me that I can write her up if I see that it's needed

@Lilliesandlight Precious? Like a ring?

@Iwillwait I guess? This employee is really good at sucking up to the bosses and she sucks up to the patients too. The ones she chooses to be good friends with. She's psycho

@Lilliesandlight psycho , how?
