Have you ever thought of becoming a hobo?

cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
About 7 years before I retired I got so fed up with my lead not wanting to give the vacation time I’d earned (while he took every hours of his and all of his sick time too) that I told him I might as well quit and go to California and live under a pier and be homeless. I felt like I was working like a slave to pay bills and exhausted all the time and just wanted my vacation.

No, but I am interested in the origin of the word.
I theorize it meant Homeward Bound at the end of the civil war.
@Tres13 It’s a classic song. Of course. S&G were song smiths. Much of their work is worth remembering

No, it's not as fun as the Halloween costumes make you think it would be

Oh few @Kingfish1

I think I'd be good at it
CestManan · 46-50, F
@Notanymore I think it would be a culture shock. If it were going to be something possibly long term, how would someone even prepare for it?

OR, what if they didn't really have time to prepare?
Notanymore · 36-40, M
@CestManan I do have survival training.
[c=800055]No. I'm not that much adventure lover. [/c]
A Ho with body odor…hmmm…Pass

Not a hobo but a hermit.
