From one perspective, your kind of letting chance rewrite your beliefs of your self based on generalized statements that are made for anyone to relate to.
From another perspective, your connecting to a spiritual world or being to guide you in your curiosity of yourself.
From my perspective, your giving yourself permission to rewrite your own beliefs or thoughts based on how much faith you put behind each statement read and what you choose to relate to yourself. With the right amount of understanding it can be a tool utilized to start a personal journey.

@Boeing well because its so general you can kind of create the meaning behind it. I guess it depends on your intentions.
Boeing · 36-40
@GuyWithOpinions absolutely does. Sometimes, when they go towards the dark side, ie saying "what these people are thinking about you" then I need to pause and think if it is the moment right and I can take the information in a way that it will help me resolve something, or is it that I am perpetuating some kind of hatred cycle.

They’ve never really moved me. My son in law is amazing at reading tarot cards.

I do, I take them with a grain of salt, some seem on the right track and some are out in left field. I also started listen my moon sign ones too.

@RebelRaven what does the one about the moon sign refer to ?
faery · F
I used to have many decks and did readings for people, but I haven't done it for a long time now.
I don't believe in them having literal predictive or advisory powers, but they are a good tool to think about your life from a different perspective and imagine different possible futures. They are fun and useful as inspiration and guidance for self reflection.

@NerdyPotato Tarots is an actual game that is popular in Belgium and France. What each card means in "fortune telling" is inconsistent and deliberately vague.
Boeing · 36-40
@NerdyPotato I love the way you explained that, I too use them like that.
Though I do feel and believe too that this type of work involve sometimes strange type of energies, for a better way of explaining it.

@BlueSkyKing yeah exactly, said by an artist who provoked the limits of science utilizing his imagination. He can say such things, from the depth of his experimentations and knowledge, but I am not talking to Isaac now, I am talking to you.
Go read about quantum.

@Boeing Link up the association with fortune tellers. Quantum physics isn’t something that belongs in the Fun and Games section.

@BlueSkyKing Oh my, you're so right! 🫠 You so knowledgeable!
Never had a reading 🙆♂
