A train leaving Chicago at 8:45 am local Chicago time is headed for it's final destination of Las Vegas, 1750 miles away. Assuming it's in a straight line, and accounting for three 2 hour stops at random intervals.The train takes 3 miles to achieve a top speed of 50mph, in which it accelerates at constant a constant velocity, and takes 5 miles to come to a dead stop in which is decelerates at a constant rate.
