Have you ever submitted an essay (amateur or beginner) to a free writing contest? What was the experience like?

@robbie2499 I once3 started to write a Science fiction novel, which was pure crap. I think I have it in my drawer somewhere.

I used to journal, until I realized I was just crawling up my own a$$ by re-reading my journals...and dwelling on what had happened in my life. I finally threw them in the trash.

Now I write exclusively online.

@4meAndyou What do you write online if you don't mind me asking.

@robbie2499 I just write here, now. When EP was in existence, I posted lots of my stories. I copied SOME of them here. Haunted house stories, dating nightmare stories, and so on.
