What happens when males do play against females though, they must do it outside of official competition
eMortal · M
@SW-User it’s still allowed but most organizers make 2 diff tournaments to separate men from women.

No need of testosterone levels to win.
Is this actually known to be true or simply something that is assumed because physical strength is not required? I don't have an opinion or information either way, I'm just curious.

@ninalanyon Although mental endurance is associated with physical fitness, yes you really don’t need to be physically stronger that your opponents to defeat them in a board game.

It's a good question tho.. Never thought about it.👍
Because of the ratio of men and women. Look at the numbers of players, Competition is fierce among male chess players. If they mingle, female chess players would never get to the top rating, only few would. That will be discouraging for future female chess players. And Naturally Men are more analytical than women. So Men will always win and there will be no place for women.

@GoneSilent yeah I think numbers might be the issue. Very few female players.

Neither does letting biological males compete against women in women's sports.
eMortal · M
@SumKindaMunster If it requires physical prowess, yeah it makes no sense. But this here is purely intellectual.

@eMortal My point being, this may be in response or retaliation for the encroachment of biological males in women's sports.

So true

I really don't think this world will ever see women as equal to men. Just cynical I guess, but there are still sooooooo many cultures that treat women as property...I just don't have a lot of hope.
