Do you think Magnus Carlsen is right to insinuate that Niemann cheated against him at the St-Louis chess event?

I find the accusation very unprofessional from the chess champion.

I don't think it's anything new. The world of chess seems to have some huge egos which are easily bruised.

I remember Kasparov accusing Deep Blue of cheating when it beat him, lol

I'm not entirely sure HOW you can cheat in chess anyway. It's not like you can hide your moves from the opponent.

I agree with you with you! no proof, it sounds like witch-hunting.
However, when a human opponent suddenly plays alot of good moves, if feels like you’re playing a computer or maybe they’re getting some help.
To beat a computer you have to play like a human, with some strategies that are almost impossible for a computer to categorize(like human biases). When a computer plays like a human, you can tell.

At the end we still need proof before making accusations.@Whodunnit
