@OogieBoogie it is both hilarious and deeply shocking/concerning indeed, especially in a democracy. Of course policy based on votes from people who don't know what they are voting on or what their vote stands for is going to be horrible. On the other hand, I can't think of any system with fewer or lesser downsides either. The world just seems like an uncleanable mess.
@NerdyPotato thats a good quote. Carl sagan had a forboding for humanites furture and our ability to think , and know. And it seems to be coming true .
