You took the words right out of my mouth. I found it way too long with too much filler. But for me the main problem was just that it was open world. I don't like open world. But I bought it because I played and loved the previous Witcher games. I got to Skellige and then I stopped playing.

@FeetAreFantastic: It's not open world I had a problem with. I just always found with open world games the idea is to explore and have more freedom to play however you want. If I didn't do a certain side quest at a certain time I would lose that quest for good.

@RenegadeYankee: I understand. But the Witcher doesn't make sense to be an open world really. The Witcher games are very story driven and require a right narrative and a sense of urgency. Open world gets in the way. When I read the announcement that this game would because open world I knew that was a huge mistake.
