@SomeMichGuy I use a fair amount of British English, like I call it telly instead of TV and I go to maths class instead of math class. But I also use lots of American English too, like my car has a trunk and hood, not a boot and bonnet, and I eat cookies, not biscuits.

@LookingForTheSummer American cookies are British biscuits...as has been noted, we are two peoples divided by a common language.

@LookingForTheSummer A lot of Brits use the word "biscuit" to refer to what Americans call a "cookie." Properly they're different but colloquially they are not.
