In the 1970's crossover they did just that, it was a draw, Calling the Hulk the unstoppable force and Superman the unmovable object. They also had Superman vs Dr. Doom, Superman as an Avenger, and the fact that both Superman and Wonder Woman could pick up Thor's hammer

@Wolfram 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Superman. Easy.
In addition to being arguably stronger than the hulk, he's also got super speed, flight, heat vision and arctic breath.
Strength alone is not enough to beat superman.

You need to keep superman out of the sunlight for days or at least several hours before he's going to lose significant power.
And i think you're thinking of him ripping wolverine in half. But obviously he didn't rip the adamantium in half, he ripped a adamantium plated bone off of another adamantium plated bone.
Not to mention that superman is at LEAST as strong as the hulk and probably stronger (once bench pressed the weight of the earth for 5 days straight)

I'm not sure if an upward limit has ever been established or not.
But the fact is that he still gets beaten by strong enough enemies. While is strength could theoretically keep increasing indefinitely that doesn't mean he'll become strong enough before he loses.
