I still sleep with a stuffed toy

I have had my birth stuffed animal for 34 years and i see no reason to get rid of it if it calms me and makes me feel safe at night. isnt that what your sleep should feel like ? There are other ones too. there is doodles the dog and pixie which is a sylveon plushie and eeyore. so cosy and warm during the winter.

@Pheartmaster I watch The Repair Shop on TV, and "the bear ladies" are often repairing stuffed toys that have been loved for 30 or more years. I enjoy the stories behind the toys.

@exexecWell the story behind my duck is that it some kind of rare merchandise from a dutch cartoon show called "Alfred Kwak" and my parents figured before i was born that it wasn't to big and not to small to suffocate in. The duck in the show wears this red scarf thats almost as big as his body, mine got replaced at some time as a kid i think. at the age of 5 they wanted me to trade both the toy and my pacifier for this thunderbird toy plane and something else which i dont remember. i only gave the pacifier and did wanna trade the duck. thank god for that
