Lego/clay dough/kinetic sand? Other suggestions? What's your poison?

For adults. Not kids haha.

I just want to get my brother to do other things that do not involve staring at a screen.

I would say Lego, I love them. They're just so expensive though

Maybe figurine painting, but that's probably a bit niche

@Casheyane there are many kinds. For example, Blender is a popular one that people use

@caPnAhab Thanks for telling me. :) I am not really into designing by software. But I did wonder if CAD is like adobe photoshop.

I'm more of an acrylic/pen painter kind of girl. But I do make magic designs on ppt if that counts.

@Casheyane no worries. I was going to suggest maybe it'd be a better fit for him...
But that's looking at a screen, so nevermind 😅

I always thought the sand was neat. And there are no memes about the pain of stepping on kinetic sand in the middle of the night, which should not be discounted.

@JustNik I read about parents complaining the sand gets everywhere in their house hahahha. But only cause they let their kids roll toy cars in the sand and then let them bring the toy cars everywhere haha.

Embroidery, cross stitch, knitting, crochet, diamond / sticker painting, paint by number.... all activities both men and women can enjoy.
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@Starcrossed Diamond sticker painting looks interesting. I haven't tried it though. Have you?

But as for my brother, he isn't really into those. Most boys around are the gamer or musician type, if not tech people. But to be real, it was also a guy classmate who helped me survive my crochet project haha. So I agree that those activities you listed are for both genders.

Thanks for the suggestions :)

Legos they take forever to do but it looks pretty cool when you’re done

Never messed with kinetic sand. Lego is solid.
