I always thought the sand was neat. And there are no memes about the pain of stepping on kinetic sand in the middle of the night, which should not be discounted.

Embroidery, cross stitch, knitting, crochet, diamond / sticker painting, paint by number.... all activities both men and women can enjoy.

But as for my brother, he isn't really into those. Most boys around are the gamer or musician type, if not tech people. But to be real, it was also a guy classmate who helped me survive my crochet project haha. So I agree that those activities you listed are for both genders.
