a air fryer. Bought the damn thing 3 days ago and already it broke

@Torsten I love mine, best kitchen gadget I ever bought, way cheaper than using the oven.

I hope you get yours replaced and end up loving it as much as I do mine, crispy bacon done in an air fryer is so lush.

@AntisocialTroll haha I dont know what happened but had a huge mental block or something because I suddenly forgot how to use it and yeah it was not broken apparently. I was putting the temp on thinking it was broken because it was not working. kept forgetting to turn the timer on which itself is what starts the damn thing 🥴
I do really enjoy it. Cooks food much faster and its crazy how much better the food ends up being. Have not tried bacon in it yet but I will, thanks

@Torsten I put a layer of mushrooms beneath the bacon so they cook in it's fat, highly recommend it!

@AntisocialTroll oh damn that sounds good. Any type of mushrooms?
AntisocialTroll · 56-60, F
@Torsten I've been using chestnut mushrooms simply because they are the type I use most often anyway.
Works beautifully, I've five interlinked smoke/heat detectors in my tiny flat and before the air fryer I was unable to cook bacon how I like it without them all going off 🤣 my air fryer really is the best gadget ever.

@AntisocialTroll sounds good. Looks like I am going shopping tomorrow to get mushrooms and bacon haha.
Awesome you have something now that can cook things the way you like em without smoke everywhere
