As a child which Christmas or birthday present toy(s) did you hardly play with?

A Slinky was exciting for maybe 2 times down the stairs... and the tiny piano. Those were mine.

I think I saw this one Storage Wars - Rene (fat, giggly buyer) had one appraised at next to nothing 🤣

The rockem sockem robots were lame
@BiasForAction

I missed out on that one (I was too old by then) but, after searching on Duck Duck Go with "are rock em sock em robots lame?" this is what I got - -

Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots has been considered by some as a simplistic and repetitive toy, leading to opinions that it is "lame." However, it remains a nostalgic favorite for many due to its iconic status and the fun of two-player action.

Sounds like big time lame all right... lol

Slinkies were a bit shit.

As soon as they got tangled it was time for the bin.

My biggest disappointment was a 'Lightning Luke' light-gun toy.

The adverts made it look amazing but the reality made me doubt the world of TV...
