Lost in the VR World

Finally Gave-in..,
The choice wasn't an easy one between PSVR for my PS4 Pro or the Oculus Quest 2.
Ended up buying an Oculus Quest 2, the deal-breaker for me was that its wireless, I don't like wires!
[/b]
First impressions..,
After the set-up I remember telling myself, "its just another way of playing video games and interaction, blah..,".
Then I proceeded to go through the tutorials and Wow, was I blown away ! Its totally immersive as you interact and manipulate images that you see on screen, one step closer to actually being there.

One of my first games..,
Puzzling Places
At first being old school thought okay, just put the pieces together (blah). So I proceeded to copy the image as shown. No-ways.., you mean I have to complete the back too..lol.

There went the day..,

Once I turn the Oculus on I'm in my own world the whole day.
When I got up this morning I told myself okay, first things first. Wash your face, make your coffee, brush your teeth, eat somethjng, anything, sweep and mop the floors.
And here I am still on it... the one thing that forces me to take a break is to charge up the headset and headstrap auxiliary batteries... fortunately.

Why thank god for a human made device? Don't you think everyone who spent decades on developing this technology deserve most of the credit?

@NerdyPotato everything starts with Him...
@eyeno but everything after the start was done by human beings who worked really hard. They deserve the majority of the credit.
eyeno · M
@NerdyPotato He put everyone with all the gifts they've been blessed with to love and help others (incl. Technology).
@eyeno and humans deserve no credit for using all that? They're basically just robots or pawns in God's plan?
eyeno · M
@NerdyPotato One can live in Gods world or Mans, we each have a choice in schools of thought.
@eyeno yep, and I prefer to live in the real world where I get credit for my accomplishments. It would be very damaging for your self esteem to be blamed for everything that goes wrong, but people deny your role in everything that goes right. That's not love, that's toxicity.
eyeno · M
@NerdyPotato I'm never blamed by Him, yet there are consequences for doing wrong, not mistakes as its a learning process that one has to endure to form a strong bonding with Him.

Unfortunately, I too have to live and follow Mans laws. So I pray for guidance daily in making the right decisions especially in life changing ones.
@eyeno so you're not blamed nor getting credit? You're just doing whatever he wants you to do and that's it?

@NerdyPotato When He speaks I listen....
One can relate to it to growing up with parents, your either going to listen to their instructions or face the consequences of ones actions.
@eyeno great analogy! Taking responsibility is very important in life.
