Lost in the VR World

Finally Gave-in..,
The choice wasn't an easy one between PSVR for my PS4 Pro or the Oculus Quest 2.
Ended up buying an Oculus Quest 2, the deal-breaker for me was that its wireless, I don't like wires!
[/b]
First impressions..,
After the set-up I remember telling myself, "its just another way of playing video games and interaction, blah..,".
Then I proceeded to go through the tutorials and Wow, was I blown away ! Its totally immersive as you interact and manipulate images that you see on screen, one step closer to actually being there.

One of my first games..,
Puzzling Places
At first being old school thought okay, just put the pieces together (blah). So I proceeded to copy the image as shown. No-ways.., you mean I have to complete the back too..lol.

There went the day..,

Once I turn the Oculus on I'm in my own world the whole day.
When I got up this morning I told myself okay, first things first. Wash your face, make your coffee, brush your teeth, eat somethjng, anything, sweep and mop the floors.
And here I am still on it... the one thing that forces me to take a break is to charge up the headset and headstrap auxiliary batteries... fortunately.

Any issues with nausea? I have a Quest 2 and I really like some basic games like Beat Saber, but I have problems playing games where you turn around a lot, like adventure or shooting games...it makes me queasy after some time and I have to take a break.

@SumKindaMunster yes...,and I liken it to the feeling of being 'seasick'.
Use to go fishing with my Grandmother as a commercial fisherman every summer. The first two days I wanted to die, but soon got my sea legs which made it enjoyable.

Played Richies Plank and felt nauseous. Guess it might pass if I cut my hours spent in those games that make me feel that way and let it happen slowly till it doesnt bother me. 👍

@eyeno Thank you. That's my experience as well. Sadly, I don't always have the time to spend acclimating myself to it. I've been playing a lot of exercising games and boxing games, that seems to be the most rewarding games on it, I get a lot of exercise and enjoy the experience, it's exhilarating bouncing around my living room trying to stick and move.

@SumKindaMunster using technology and putting it to work for us is definitely money worth spending. 👍
