Were you destructive with your toys as a kid?

The kids I have babysat always seemed to delight in destroying their toys! They would either purposely break them or alter them, or they would accidentally break them by playing too roughly.

As a kid I took really good care of my toys, I remember it would make me mad if one of my friends or my brother broke one of my toys. 😑

I'm not going to say "I grew up poor", because there was always food on the table at dinner (But I still hate Brussel sprouts).....

But we didn't get a lot of toys outside of Christmas.... (birthday gifts were generally clothes) so we took really good care of our toys and passed them down when we outgrew them.

The clothes got passed down as well....
