I suspect magic easily deflects bullets. There was nothing the British Empire liked more than killing all those who they thought posed a threat, and yet those Brits with magic had their own ministry in the British government. 😉

@TexChik There was a book I read called Beyond the Vanishing Point where one character shoots a demon. Another says they thought you had to use magic to kill a demon and he says he likes the spell of hot lead. It’s effective and its chant is short.
