I think back to the future was a overall better movie compared to the one I am about to mention. When it comes to time travel, I think "the butterfly effect" did it better.

I don't know Rick and Morty is a back to the future parody and I argue that's the best time travel story but it's not a movie so there's that.

Does The Terminator count as a time travel story? Maybe that wasn't a big enough aspect of it.

It's one of my favorite movie series. I've watched them multiple time.

I really enjoyed the second one

They are near perfect movies in every single aspect of film making.
The best thing about them is that isn't permitted for anyone to make a mediocre cash-grab sequel for them. At least as long as Robert Zemeckis is still alive.
