If I’m being honest, the uncertainty of the future scares me more than I’d like to admit.

The "future" doesn't actually exist in reality, so you're worrying for nothing!

The "past" doesn't exist either in reality, so you don't have to worry about your 'past' haunting you in your future which doesn't actually exist!

All there is in reality is "NOW", the present moment. Only the present moment exists in reality, so you've got nothing to worry about.

I try to ignore it, then can't sleep early mornings worrying about it.

I think there's a lot of that going around (at least among conscious people).

I only somewhat agree with this. There are certain uncertainties that scare me.
