the construction of the LUNA RING proposed by Shimizu Corporation in Japan. simply put it would be a ring of solar panels around the moon and be ably to provide more than enough electricity to meet the need of all of earth. should enough nations of the world band together it is reasonably possible albeit expensive. although the chances of such international cooperation within the next 50 years are pretty much 0%
