How is society going to be affected when AI can make photos so realistic they can’t be proven to be fakes?

Photos have been fabricated and altered for as long as cameras have been in existence. People need to use their intelligence and a healthy dash of scepticism, not just passively accept whatever is put in front of their eyes.
