What is putin thinking

I am really surprised that the Russian government hasn't force putin out of power. I been seeing on the news people that are protesting the war he is forcing them to join the Russian army to fight. I been hearing thousands of people are trying to leave Russia instead of being force to fight in the war

@SW-User I seen a video of this guy saying things are a little different in Russia then in the states. Like Biden he says launch a nuke his commanders will launch a nuke. But it is different in Russia if Putin gives the same order his base commanders can refuse the order.
