Some of the most stout Trump supporters/right wing nutcases on this site are living in Australia...

@pillowprincess that's so true. posts by conservatives would be a good place to start
deadgerbil · 22-25
@pillowprincess I had to block the one we are all warned about. Absolutely mind numbing and I've been very patient seeing his bs over the years lol
@SW-User
Yap, the passive aggressive yellow van and the sewer clown for a starter, and there'll be several more...
@deadgerbil
That one is staying away from me. I guess he got tired of getting back what he's been dishing out. It's quite remarkable how a transphobic person [?] dreams of scissoring lesbians. 🤦🏼‍♀️

@deadgerbil lol I've seen this one unironically agree with flat earth posts or "playing the devil's advocate"
@HannibalAteMeOut
Where's the face palm reaction emoji when you need it 🤷🏼‍♀️
deadgerbil · 22-25
@HannibalAteMeOut I remember him lending credence to the 5g cell tower conspiracy bs

@pillowprincess Where the eff, did you hear that? Trump is a joke.. And not a funny one.. Only the Troll brigade support him anywhere. He doesnt even have genuine followers in America..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman
I didn't hear this, I had the doubtful pleasure of interacting with some of them. Have a look around on this site. Btw, I mentioned some and in no way said all Australians will be Trump supporters/right wing nutcases.

@pillowprincess Its pretty much universal outside America that Trump is disliked, apart from a few Murdoch media hacks.. Liking parody villains like him seems to be mostly an American thing..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman
I haven't been able to look up newer numbers than 2020 on a quick search, but 20% or above seems significant to me. I wish you a great day, goodnight mate!

deadgerbil · 22-25
@whowasthatmaskedman nah, there is no shortage of people on the right globally who resonate with his messaging and sentiments. Usually disproportionately less than in America but there's no reason to downplay it
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@pillowprincess A lot has happened since 2020 and I really dont believe those figures with the possible exception of Israel..😷
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@deadgerbil Maybe its the crowd I hang out with. I mean literate.. And to be fair, American Presidents for the last couple of decades have not been inspiring..😷
deadgerbil · 22-25
@whowasthatmaskedman I don't hang out with that crowd, but how exactly would Trump's nearly 40% approval rating in Brazil, given that country's own right wing bs, suddenly vanish overnight? It makes no sense to think otherwise
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@deadgerbil I would agree. However Brazil is part of the BRICS alliance looking to displace the $US as a trade currency. They dont exactly have American interests at heart..😷
deadgerbil · 22-25
@whowasthatmaskedman and tons of people would say that Trump and the bs he's done doesn't align with America's best interests, such as wanting to pull out of NATO and etc so that just plays into what BRICS wants...
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@deadgerbil I would agree that one good reason to Support Trump would be if you didnt have American Interests at heart..😷

Yada yada yada... I suppose that's the level of evidence backing up claims in a discussion that you taught students at the tertiary education you gave for almost 30 years.

@pillowprincess No thats actually just my personal opinion. My professional knowledge of the man doesnt extend into his political career, and only includes his fathers unethical business practices, His poor character as exhibited through his school days, his lack of integrity in business and failure (unlike his father) to even make a fortune by cheating others. He has always been the classic case history of how NOT to succeed in business. I leave it to others to judge his character as a husband, a parent and a human being.. But I confess I did think he was too vile even for Republicans.. So I wasnt right about everything..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman
Exactly. No one took it serious that he could become the nominee back then. Everyone, including what used to be republicans didn’t think he’d make it through the primaries, yet alone in a presidential run with HRC. Yet, whatever his flawed character people keep saying the same once more, underestimating the strong fundamentalists and the interests of adversaries to derail the US as society. Therefore I still won’t underestimate the situation by saying it’s just the troll brigade and villains like him. They are in your society as in my. The question is how one is planning to oppose it, by raising awareness or by simply denying and neglecting it. I’m done here, you can do as it pleases you. I hope others of your countrymen act differently than you.
