The stupid things I did today.
Learning how to use a bisquit joiner was fun, it works much better when I have the fence down.
I glued up my project, then went to attach the clamps and realized they were too short and unusable.
The wood clamp I made for really long stuff falls off when the piece is turned sideways (trying to move it to attach weights in place of the missing clamps)
I used an air gun with 2" nails to try to nail the sides in place, then when it didn't work I realized the wood was also 2" wide. Now I have a bunch of metal nails in the sides I can't get back out.
I added two 30 lb dumbbells to the edge of the work to hold it while the glue dried.
The edges were not in line so I tapped them with a hammer, the dumbbells fell off, knocking the long clamp off and everything fell into a heap on the floor.
I got it all back together, then went to home depot and bought some clamps.
I wonder what kind of comedy I will perform tomorrow. I should have a camera rolling.
3 more doors to go. Will I survive?
