@uncalled4 What hate? What did I miss in his history? I saw him when he was doing the Sledge Omatic routine at the Kennedy Center and years later when he was just doing his stories and mixing it up with the audience in a city theater 20 minutes from me.

@Gibbon I meant the hate for Gallagher's routines. Some think of him as just hitting watermelons with hammers, but I really enjoyed his stand up

@uncalled4 He was so much more than that. Those people don't know his full routine. But I thought the sledge omatic routine was hilarious also. At the Kennedy center the first 3 rows of seats had plastic sheets for everyone to hide under. He was also in the largest theater with the pipe organ and laughed and commented can you believe they put me in here. He also had a trick up his sleeve. He had a bucket of water filled with foam rubber Frisbees that he was able to toss into the balcony and said you thought you were safe up there.
But his stand up was the best and all of it was based on everyday truths and how ridiculous our world is.
