When you order something with hotdog in Turkey

Seriously hotdog here tastes exactly like pastrami and or salami. It doesn't matter where or how you get it. On pizza or pre cooked from a supermarket it all tastes the same and it has nothing to do with hotdog that I had all my life.

I feel that whoever sold the original recipe for hotdogs to the Turks gave them the recipe for pastrami instead 🤔

I hope that's not the case with the rest of Europe. It was more delicious back home. All I know is that it shouldn't taste like pastrami.
Hotdogs here are nothing like salami. I don't know if I ever had pastrami, but I assume that's more similar to salami then hotdog.
@NerdyPotato There must be something weird going on then! In Egypt hotdog tasted like hotdog.

What’s your favorite Turkish food you’ve tried so far ?
@SW-User I think Baklava but it's not very different from a similar dessert we have back home.
@HannibalAteMeOut What about Greece? 😊

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether it doesn't taste like that, no 😅 but it sounds more interesting that way. The hot dog's sausage doesn't have much flavour.
@HannibalAteMeOut You are right it's worse when it's tasteless or almost sweet.

The hotdogs in England are disgusting. Idk what they are but ughhhh. They have "American" ones but they aren't any better since they are pickled in a jar 😂
@SkeetSkeet pickled seriously? Lol that's insane
