Do you pronounce "Iraq" like "eye rack"? Or just "eeraq"?

I always heard Americans say "eye rack" but today on Master Class website an ex FBI negotiator/author called Chris Voss pronounced it "eeraq" so I'm confused.

“Eeraq" is the more correct pronunciation of Iraq (as is “Eeran" the more correct pronunciation of Iran).

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Some here even pronounce Italian as “Eye talian”....but still pronounce Italy as “Ih taly”.
