I Like To Prank People

Salt in my parents’ bed! I spread it out a bit more thinly near the head and foot of the bed, this was more the middle. Yesterday, I was looking for some ideas on how to prank my parents and this wonderful idea was suggested! I put the salt in the bed and had to wait until they went to bed - and I was not disappointed!

I listened outside their door as they were getting into bed and I could hear my mom tell my dad that there was something in the bed. I guess she started to panic a bit, not knowing what it was...then I heard a thump. There was commotion and I couldn’t hear exactly what they said because they were both talking at the same time. Lights went on and they must have noticed the salt. I heard my mom say ‘why would she do that?’ then groaned about having to change the sheets. My dad told her that I could do it, which is when I ran back to my room. He came in shortly after and shouted a bit, the expression on his face was priceless and he trailed salt all the way into my room. I just laughed, I couldn’t help it. I wish I had a photo of the look on his face. 😂 Anyway, he told me to help my mom change the sheets, but by the time I got to their room, she was mostly done. I took the salty sheets to the laundry room, because I’m so helpful! The whole incident went really well, I kind of expected more of a reaction. It turns out the thump I heard was my mom sort of falling out of bed and hitting herself on the nightstand, so I feel kind of bad about that. They took my phone away (which I have back now, since they are at work and don’t hide my phone well - they think they do). I had to clean up the salt that got all over the floor and wash the sheets, but that’s really minor, I expected that. It was a well executed prank and I didn’t even really get in trouble for it!

I had also rearranged a few cupboards and drawers in the kitchen, which my parents were annoyed about when I heard them this morning. They are so particular, they arranged everything back how they prefer and I really didn’t get in any trouble for that. I really didn’t see them for too long this morning, so they might still be annoyed when they come home this afternoon, but I’m not worried. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks for the ideas to those who gave me suggestions! It was a success and I had a lot of fun (I suspect my parents enjoyed it to some degree as well). Lol.
