I Pranked Called A Stranger

I used a really cool site, where it let you select a bunch of pre-recorded messages, so you could respond naturally to what the other person said, without having to speak yourself at all.

Unfortunately, this is actually a bit of a sad story. This was a few nights after I learned my dad was cheating on my mom. I was really pissed off at him. I was confused, and even scared. On the night I made the call, I looked at our home phone. My dad had been talking with some girl extensively on it while my mom was away. I was positive it had to be the other woman. I waited until it was sometime in the middle of the night, then found the call history on our home phone, and used the number from the most recent call. The phone rung in my headset, and I waited. I was so angry at my dad and this stranger. I felt betrayed. It took two calls for the girl to finally pick up. Finally, she did.

"~Hello?" she said, her voice tired and confused. I stared at my computer screen, not sure what to do. What should I do? Hit buttons and start saying weird stuff? "Hello?" she said again, almost asking.

I hung up.

That was a person on the other end.

I can hate people with passion.
I can be angry and uncontrolled.
I can be moody and upset.

But I can't hurt a real person.

I didn't sleep much that night.
