Ugh...those lines

@BlueGreenGrey It's alright, I wasn't feeling down☺I was taking a break from work and well...you know me,I don't take everything seriously, I'm as silly as silly can be, pondering over mundane things such as annoying seams that sometimes leave marks upon the skin.Especially upon waking and realizing you slept on one side and there it is...the mark lol. Judging from the image of the hip I used, which I found on Google, I know I'm not the only one lol

As for the alternative, fortunately, they exist, so my choice is the seamless ones now.

@LilMissAnonyMOUSE oh I imagine it is extremely common and normal, especially if like you said you just end up sleeping in a way that makes it unavoidable and worthy of pondering into verse ☺
(and hopefully less painful than falling asleep on a tv remote 🤭)

This couplet in particular also got me thinking ...


... that in the absence of a better alternative, any loving partner wouldn't even be focused on the line, certainly not in any negative way, but instead only wanting their partner to feel that a minor surface detail like the temporary marks is not diminishing anything at all ☺

@BlueGreenGrey It's pretty common indeed and happens to anyone at some point or other in life. The remote control thing must be painful, one has to be drunk not to notice lying on a remote control lol

Of course, in the heat of passion who even notices that. I was joking when making the poem😊
