@beermeplease Is it wrong of me waiting until she croaks so I can inherit 1/3rd of her farmland, 14 of 42 acres? My mama's boy older brother is her exectutor, only her and him know whether or not I actually will get even a single of that land, now valued at close to $15K per acre.

@beermeplease She has one, I saw her give it to my older brother in December 2010.

@beermeplease As for contesting it, easy, she chose her second husband over me when I was 16 1/2, claiming I had withdrawn and other shit, while all I have to say is that it was her fault because her second husband used me as a punching bag and put me in the situations forcing me to withdraw into myself.

@NativePortlander1970 only time will tell...my mom lost out big time with her uncles/aunts over seas when they died. they never had wills. only once she got about 10k in 1980 from an aunt. her family didn't have a ton of money but that wasn't bad change back then. but 2 of her uncles estates went missing mysteriously. 1 had a house in pretty well downtown vienna...that's like owning a house in nyc....but gone...i begged her to take a lawyer...but she didn't

@NativePortlander1970 well the one uncle died and her and my brother flew there...that would have been 40 years ago. she went to his apartment where her he lived with a female "room mate" that uncle had gold bars that he saved up over the years and a couple of bank accounts dedicated to my brother and i. my mom knew this cus she saw them on previous visits..somehow if you have access to the account numbers you can withdraw the money...gold bars gone too.. the other uncle with the house had an executer appointed to him while he was still alive...in 1990 we all went to visit him with his executor. i remember it. my great uncle was already starting to go senile. he was trying to tell us people were stealing from him including maids that came around...that executor tried to "shush" him up. my mom then gave that executor contact details of my mom's sister who lived nearby so when that uncle died he could easily contact her to tell us. (my mom's sister was not blood related to that side) the executor never contacted anybody when he died, whenever that was. i often considered obtaining a lawyer myself. because if he acquired that property illegally i the the statute of limitations doesn't apply

@NativePortlander1970 yeah...i'll talk to my brother about it as well when he gets back from mexico and moves in, in june... i gotta dig up old records from my mother's stuff...funny how family is. on my dad's side he has a half sister. much younger. she has/had an aunt who owned big property on vancouver island. was told she would get it all...never happened. i knew her aunt and she was a whack job...my dad's baby sister is a gem though...she rides a harley in germany...cool lady 🤗...i like her
