Fickle people.
A guy who complained about CCTV in the 90s is now bragging about the picture quality on his doorbell cam that covers one half of the street. It’s a good job he didn’t tattoo his beliefs on his body.

I don't think it's fickle to change one's mind or attitudes about something.
How could anyone be "free' if we couldn't change and evolve over time?
The definition of fickle is "changing frequently, especially as regards one's loyalties or affections".
