Fickle people.
A guy who complained about CCTV in the 90s is now bragging about the picture quality on his doorbell cam that covers one half of the street. It’s a good job he didn’t tattoo his beliefs on his body.

I don't think it's fickle to change one's mind or attitudes about something.
How could anyone be "free' if we couldn't change and evolve over time?
The definition of fickle is "changing [i]frequently[/i], especially as regards one's loyalties or affections".
